Maybe think about sponsoring children in South Sudan, Uganda, or Ethiopia. These are children that, without the help of people like you, would have very little or no hope, as around 85% of our children are total orphans.
Most have no parents or families at all. Most are victims of war and other atrocities - so going to school everyday, sleeping in a bed and receiving 3 meals a day is a dream that all children want in East Africa - and thanks to you we are able to do this.
